Abacus

I had been learning an abacus when I was a primary schoolgirl. I really liked it and my skill of calculation went higher and higher. However, when I was in 6 grade in primary school, my teacher died. Not only me but also my mother and my grandmother was leaning an abacus from the same teacher. So he was very old.
I wanted my children to learn an abacus from him. It can't be real, but I will take my children to any abacus classes. Because it improves their skills of calculation.

WORK

I work about 130 ~ 140 hours per month. You know I am a student, but many people ask me,

"Do you really go to school? You are not a student, do you?"

I DO!!!! I GO TO SCHOOL!!!!!!!!

I like to work and get money, but I don't fail any classes this year.......maybe.

There are one you can practice English with the game. I really want to get one, but now NINTENDO DS is very popular. So you cannot get one soon. Do you have any plan for spring vacation?
I am going to travel South Korea with my friend♪I am very excited about it because this is the first time I visit South Korea!! It costs only about 40,000 yen for hotel and a round-trip airplane tickets. Isn't it cheap?!?!
I wanted to go to Australia because I have my hostfamily there. However, it costs a lot.....
So I changed my mind! I will go to Australia when I saved enough money. I don't know when it comes.....

Cherry Blossom

Hello, everyone!

Isn't it too cold these days?!?!

I don't like winter....

Then you can feel warmer after you see this picture!!

This is a cherry blossom in Arashiyama, Kyoto.

There are many cherry trees and there are also many sightseers in spring. This is very popular place to see cherry blossoms in spring and red and yellow colored leaves in autumn.

Have you ever visited?! I really recommend this place as a Japanese.

Almost finished...

We have many tests and reports at the end of the year.
In January, I had...
a book report and a test for Reading I,
a book report and an essay for English II,
a test for Reading II,
a test for Practical English II, and
a test for English Grammar.

It means I have done many already, so I have only a few left.
I have a test for Reading I again on Tuesday.

Then, during the test weeks, I have 4 tests by the 3rd of February.

Maybe many people have more tests and reports than me.
How many tests did you and do you guys have???

A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

What were you doing with who on 31st of December, 2005 and today, 1st of January, 2006?

I was of course working on both of days...

On the last day of 205, I worked until 8 o'clock in the pharmacy. Then I went to the karaoke house where I work. Two of my colleague were there, so I talked and had soba with them to say goodbye to 2005. It is very traditional custom in Japan to eat soba on the last day of the year.
We counted to the new year and said "A Happy New Year!" to each other.

It was very fun to spend the end and start of the year with them.

Wish all your happiness in 2006!!

Band LIVE!!

One of my friends love guitar and she is very good at playing guitar. Last Sunday, I went to see her live for the first time. Her band menbers are all boys except my friend. They all drank much alcohol before their stage. It was very fun, but they were not sobar. They played about 5 songs which are all copy from the different band. I didn't know any of them, but I enjoyed it because they looked very happy to play music. Then I (play the electone which is like piano) and my friend, who plays Saxophone, decided to construct one band and play musci together.
Now, I'm looking for people who can play instruments, like Tranpet, Tronbone, Clarinet, Guitar, etc... If you want to join us, tell me anytime!!!!
